NO COUNTRY FOR THE WOMEN



No city or town belongs to a woman like it does to a man. A woman cannot just  spend time in any setting silently looking into space, or just not doing anything. Merely standing at a place draws attention, and it takes nothing be called  a ‘prostitute’. No woman may sit about or stand or look into the sunset.
If a woman looks  out smiling, it will be assumed  she is soliciting a customer . no one will give a woman the right to be happy just as she is. She cannot hum contendly  to herself as she works. When out on a highway driving a long distance , during a tea break, if she chooses to stand or pace  the front  just to restore the blood-circulation in her legs, the men in the teashop  repeatedly tell her to sit down.
Standing --- In a dominant position --- is an  unacceptable position for a woman.
